Aisoul Smart Home Security Camera System All-in-One Wi-Fi Camera Smart Socket Outlet App Remote Monitoring Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Detection with Multi-color RGB lights

I've always wanted to try out a security intercom spy camera in my home. So I decided to review Aisoul-Security-Monitoring-Detection-Multi-color RGB light system. Sigh, I try not to write bad reviews but, this will be the first review that I will say: STAY AWAY DON'T NOT BUY!! DO NOT BUY!!

There was a issue with this device  right out box, the plug didn't work. Luckily my boyfriend adjusted the inner prongs to make it connect to the wall socket. I downloaded the app for this and used the directions sent. It took forever for the wifi connect. Once connected the Smart Socket/ USB plug worked.  I was able to power on or off anything that was connected via the app. I could use the app to change the RGB light selection at the bottom of the device. There is a smoke and carbon-monoxide detector and alarm system built in to this device. The sensor is located on the back of the device. The smoke detector part of it didn't work that great. By the time the alarm will ring the house would've  burned down. I dare not to even test the  Carbon Monoxide part of this. The main attraction of why people would want to pay $170 is the motion security camera and intercom feature. THAT DIDN'T WORK AT ALL!!! After emailing the company: they replied in a timely fashion: they sent me the same instructions that came in the package. I decided to take a indepth look at the reviews on amazon. Most were misleading, giving 5 stars with just a picture of the device, while not in use!! When I read the more truthful reviews giving this 1 or 2 stars. It was stated to scan the QR on the back and that will get it to work. I tried that, sadly it still didn't work. I went to the reviewer chat to ask them how were they operating the device. Only a few got this to work, that's about 3 out of 20 people!! A reviewer said you have to make a guest account for your router. Then have it connect to the guest sign in. We all tried that, it didn't work either. Many were very frustrated in the chat: now with Amazon change of TOS: Sadly we cannot post these complaints to the products page. I hope that Amazon removes the other discounted misleading reviews. As a consumer paying almost $200 for a product. I want a device to come out the box working. You shouldn't have to tweak any brand new device right out of the box. It should be simple and easy and not time consuming. I spent 3 days on trying to get this device to work. I want a company that responds individually to me and not send the same darn instructions that I have already read. Usually if a product isnt that good, I will just give it away or still just use it anyway. I prefer not to waste things. Since I was dissapointed in this device. I am returning it. I recieved this product for a discount for my unbiased review.  I felt like I paid $8 for mobile controlled night light.
This product would have been so cool if it actually worked.
